##### Extended calculation of dark matter-electron scattering in crystal targets
###### 理论物理。启维104，095015（2021） - 出版于2021年11月17日

Searches for light dark matter via direct detection rely on a detailed understanding of dark matter/electron scattering in target materials. Here, the authors use density functional theory and semi-analytic approaches to include hitherto neglected effects which are shown to significantly impact detection prospects.

##### Nonradial neutrino emission upon black hole formation in core collapse supernovae
###### 理论物理。启维104, 104030 (2021) – Published 12 November 2021

Core-collapse supernovae resulting in black hole formation are expected to feature a precipitous decline in neutrino luminosity. The authors provide considerable nuance to this picture by considering non-radial neutrino emission in both the spherically symmetric (Schwarzschild) and rotating (Kerr) black hole cases. In each of these cases, they show that non-radial neutrinos affect the luminosity cut-off shape in interesting ways that indicate a rich domain for further theoretical and observational exploration.

##### Gravity interpretation for the Bethe Ansatz expansion of the$\mathcal{N}=4$符号索引
###### 理论物理。启维104, 086026 (2021) – Published 21 October 2021

The superconformal index of the maximally supersymmetric SU(N) Yang-Mills theory can be expressed as a sum over solutions to Bethe Ansatz Equations. Within the AdS/CFT framework, the authors find a one-to-one mapping of such solutions, which have good large N limit, to (complex) Euclidean black hole solutions on the gravity side. This mapping captures both the leading contribution from the classical gravity action and non-perturbative corrections.

###### 理论物理。启维104, 083528 (2021) – Published 19 October 2021

In this paper, the authors introduce a new way to measure the Hubble constant purely from gravitational wave data, using the binary Love relations, which govern the tidal deformability of neutron stars in an EOS insensitive way. The authors use both real and synthetic data to implement their program and predict an improvement to less than 10 percent accuracy for data from third generation gravitational wave detectors.

##### New insights into the formation and growth of boson stars in dark matter halos
###### 理论物理。启维104, 083022 (2021) – Published 14 October 2021

This paper studies the formation and growth of boson stars via gravitational condensation, using non-linear numerical techniques, incorporating, for the first time, fully dynamical repulsive and attractive self-interactions. For strong attraction, the boson star becomes unstable and ultimately breaks up for very strong coupling. Repulsion encourages boson star formation, whilst, in the case of pure gravity, the growth of boson stars in haloes slows down as per expectations.

###### 理论物理。启维104, 043531 (2021) – Published 24 August 2021

This is the third paper in an extended study (see Phys. Rev. D 102, 103530 and Phys. Rev. D 103, 123550) of the impact of galaxy bias modeling on the extraction of cosmological parameters from the large scale structure. Galaxy bias describes the possibility that galaxies do not faithfully trace the distribution of mass in the Universe and the modeling of this relationship. The authors comprehensively study the goodness and range of validity of different bias models that go beyond the leading order by testing them against different simulated galaxy samples that have the clustering properties of several real galaxy data catalogs. This is an important contribution to a decisive aspect of future observational large scale structure programs.
